My Toshiba A70 has been running SuSE 9.2 quite happily for many months with no problems. Now, twice in the last two weeks, it has overheated (the first time the fan didn't seem to be running, today it was). When I rebooted after the overheat, I spotted some errors during the boot. Here they are:
Code:
exfldio-0298: *** Error: Region EmbeddedControl(3) has no handler
psparse-1133: *** Error: Method execution failed [\_SB_.EPWR.PCLK] (Node c14f0f28), AE_NOT_EXIST
psparse-1133: *** Error: Method execution failed [\_SB_.PCI0.LPC0.EC0_._Q1E] (Node dbf02fa8), AE_NOT_EXIST
After it had cooled down a bit (while running) I re-booted and these messages did not re-appear.
Any ideas what might cause this to suddenly start happening?
