[ibook G4] Screen backlight always on
 

Hi,

I got a 2004 G4 ibook. (New Beige 1.33Ghz)
I'm desesperate cause I cannot configure my screen to goes off.
So when I closed the lid, the screen is still lightened !

It's not very nice when the computers compiles some sources for hours...

I use pbbuttons 0.6.5
The deamon works cause I can eject the cdrom with the special key.
But not the screen...

My kernel is 2.6.8

did you try to enable DPMS support in X?

I'm not sure if it is the same under PPC.
