vmlinuz boot

I'm having trouble booting from grub. I was trying to update my system so I organized my boot folder and copied new initrd and vmlinuz files there.

When I try to boot GRUB won't load the kernel. All the files are there, and Ubuntu vmlinuz and initrd files are still in the system tray, but it can't find the file.

any help?

You should try update-grub before rebooting.
