usb modem bottleneck?
 

I use an usb modem and it can work at 800-900kbps when downloading. But when I port it on an embedded board(mips CPU 240MHz, Linux 2.4.20), it can only be 520kbps.

The device driver I wrote is usb-serial.
I optimized the function of interface between usb and tty, but no improvement:(
In which layer would there be a bottleneck?
