Unable to compile linux-2.6.34 because of make errors
Hi Everyone
I am using a tutorial-How to Compile A kernel-The Mandriva Way that was linked to me in my previous post, to compile the linux-2.6.34 kernel. I am compiling on my Linux localhost 2.6.11-6mdksmp #1 SMP Tue Mar 22 15:40:42 CET 2005 i686 Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU
E7400 @ 2.80GHz unknown GNU/Linux.
I did all the steps up until I encountered the following error:
when I executed the make rpm command
[root@localhost linux]# make rpm
HOSTLD scripts/kconfig/conf
scripts/kconfig/conf -s arch/x86/Kconfig
make clean
set -e; cd ..; ln -sf /usr/src/linux-2.6.34 kernel-2.6.34default
/bin/sh /usr/src/linux-2.6.34/scripts/setlocalversion > /usr/src/linux-2.6.34/.scmversion
set -e; cd ..; tar -cz --exclude SCCS --exclude BitKeeper --exclude .svn --exclude CVS --exclude .pc --exclude .hg --exclude .git -f kernel-2.6.34default.tar.gz kernel-2.6.34default/.
