Lightbulb Thread scheduling on multicore

Hello,

I am new to linux kernel programming. I would like to schedule POSIX thread to specific core while initializing thread. Is it possible in the linux kernel? Any help or example program in this regard would be highly appreciated.

Thank you,

Best Regards,
Hemal Bavishi

As far as I know, "processor affinity" is not available. Nor can I think of any good reason why you would want to specify it, particularly in the case of cores.
