smp oops in kernel 2.6.20-16-generic

i'm running ubuntu feisty.The kernel version is 2.6.20-16-generic.i am getting this kernel oops very frequently nowadays.
this oops always happens when i'm looged in to a server via ssh.dmesg shows this:

What is wrong and wqhat can i do about it?should i downgrade the kernel?
Update: i've tried upgrading to kernel 2.6.22 ,as well as downgrading to 2.6.15,but the problem still persists.What can be done?
