RT patch for 2.6.24.5 kernel

Hi,

I was planning on trying the rt patch with the Slackware
2.6.24.5 kernel from:

http://http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/projects/rt/older/

But apparently it skips from 2.6.24.4 to 2.6.24.7 with no
patch for a the 2.6.24.5 kernel. Also, I've had no luck
searching for "patch-2.6.24.5-rtxx.gz" elsewhere. Oh well,
have I missed something or is a patched 2.6.24.7 kernel in
my future?

Thanks,
Lawrence

Try the patch for 2.6.24.4 and see if it complains. Unless bits touched by the RT patch have been changed significantly between .4 and .7, the patch should still be fine. Any particular reason you need an RT patch?

Thanks pinniped,

I'll give that a try next week. My intent is to test
several audio aps, primarily Ardour, Fluidsynth, and Rosegarden
with Jack and a RT kernel. I want to see what sort of performance
and problems happen vs. a stock 2.6.xx.x kernel.

Also PCI I/O cards are available for < $100 now :-)
And maybe I can talk a friend out of a used GPIB card
(fun fun, aplenty<G>)
