I have a VPS that is currently running a custom kernel. I have spoke with the manager and they say I am more within my rights to revfert this back to default (Which i want to do)
I have ran thge following commands:
yum install kernel
and then I rebooted. However I cannot get the VPS to load the default kernel. When you use the uname -r command it outputs the custom kernel version.
The VPS does not appear to have a bootloader.
I am wondering what command I need to run in order to tell the VPS to boot to the new kernel on reboot.
If someone could assist me I would be very greatful
OS is currently CentOS 5.4 Final
Kind Regards and Thanks in advance
