reading vista partitions?

I'm just curious. I read somewhere that Microsoft changed the filesystem so it's not exactly NTFS anymore. Does anyone have vista and able to read from the partition?

If not, does any know the status of the development?

thanks!

AFAIK windows vista was supposed to get winFS as new Filesystem, but this was later canceled. Now it's just plain NTFS AFAIK.
