oops with ndiswrapper

hi all,
i'm using Ubuntu 8.04 and kernel 2.6.24-19-generic. I have Ndiswrapper for WiFi USB adapter IOData WN-B11 USBSL.
in dmesg i see the following errors when i plugin the adapter.

[ 410.865011] BUG: unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address e3e60728
[ 410.865022] printing eip: e0e35c65 *pde = 00000000
[ 410.865033] Oops: 0002 [#1] SMP

Anyway the adapter works properly but i cannot use any USB Pen Drive and removing ndiswrapper (modprobe -r ndiswrapper) or giving lsusb freeze the shell. Anything is ok until i plug the wifi adapter

can anybody help me please?
thanks
vi3da

p.s. the part of dmesg output...sorry but i can't post attachments

p.s.2. with this kernel i don't see my second hdd no more. if i use older kernel (2.6.20-17) yes. Why?

So it has worked fine before this kernel?
If so then when you installed this kernel did you also update ndiswrapper?
You might need to install the latest ndiswrapper for this kernel or there might be an issue with this kernel with USB hardware or something. You might look into getting the latest kernel from www.kernel.org and compiling that then recompile ndiswrapper to work with the new kernel and see if all is all right. Seen kernel 2.6.9 not work with some of my USB devices. The one before and all others after have worked fine. One can never tell what something new will bring.

thanks for your help. I got and recompiled the latest ndiswrapper version 1.53 but it seems things getting worse!! now the adapter isn't recongnized. I will return to 1.50 (version "suggested" by Package Manager) and i will cross my fingers!
