Exclamation Not starting the CentOs. after new installation.

Hi i am Zia here. see i just installed the CentOs in the system, Which is P4 machine. I installed it in text mode, i formated the whole drive. and installed it. After sucsessfull installation. when system got restarted. i got this msg.kernel/vmlinuz-2.6.18-164.e15 ro root=dev/vol groupoo/logvoloo file not found
Press any key for Restart.
When i press the key.It takes me to operating system menu,. So let me know who will solve this problem, as soon as possible?.. I will be very happy by see its solution,... Thank you all readers.........

Could you please perform the installation again using default options for disk partitioning and mbr settings, then let us know if the problem is still present ?
