No boot loader after install of Fedora core5

I have installed the Fedora Core 5 and the boot loader did not TAKE. I asked it to install in the MBR but nada. I have three HD's fc-5 on hdb-5&6, Win 2000 on hda1(boot) and hdb2,3&4 and hdc1(storage).

I'm not sure what your problem is, but one alternative could be to use NTLDR

Try installing grub to the "/" partition of your FC5 install (/dev/hdb5)
