ndiswrapper (broadcom bcm43xx) giving unknown cmd fd(0) on modprobe


Hi,

i have successfully installed ndiswrapper.For broadcom wireless card the firmware and driver inf files are correctly installed by ndiswrapper.
But when give modprobe ndiswrapper , i get the following in dmesg

Linux localhost 2.6.21-2-amd64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

kindly help me to sort out this ..

Has it loaded the bcm43** something module. I forget the exact name. Some have to blacklist the broadcom module so as not to cause issues.

Run command ' /sbin/lsmod ' and see if it loaded. If so then it needs to be blacklisted. Several post here on how to do that.
