Man Pages Section 9 Kernel, in Repositories?

Hi there,

I'm building the kernel man pages (non-standard section 9) via:
Code:
make installmandocs
But I'm wondering if -- and if not, why not (as a philosophical discussion) -- there isn't a manpages-kernel package or something similar in the Debuntu repos? In other distros? Sure, internal kernel interfaces change a bunch, but if I can have packages for (mutable) images, modules, what have you in the kernel -- why not the man pages?
