linux-uvc in 2.6.22 kernel and downgrade porting
 

I'm newbie in linux driver porting. I would like to integrate linux-uvc driver to i-MX31 BSP 2.6.22. Actually linux-uvc was officially supported from 2.6.26 version.
Please give me advise how can i do that?
Is it methodology to downgrade porting?

firstly since no-one has replied...why are you using such an old kernel?

2) the module name hopefully is called

uvcvideo


not linux-uvc...which is the project name

because company who give us Board Support Packages
 

uses this version of kernel. I'm happy to choose new version of linux.
But it's issues of compatibility of other drivers -)
