This module compiled and i have the .ko file. My problem is if i try it to includen (with the command "modprobe cp210x") in the kernel comes the error modprobe: FATAL: Module cp210x not found but i have the command completed with the tab, also why he dont can find the file? u have a idea? frame info's: compiled with the linux-4.0.7 kernel like the system on this must run system is a arch-distribution in a vm do u have more question? then go u can me help??? nice plz do it Yours sincerely |
basic question.. as modprobe looks in the module directory /lib/modules/`uname -r` for all the modules and other files, so u sure if ur moduel is present in proper path?
also does "modprobe -l | less" list you module? if no, then location of ur modules .ko isnt right. |
sry for the late answer but i want to go sure that i have all do right
i have the .ko file in the /lib/modules/4.0.7-2-2-ARCH/ copies and used the command "modprobe -l | less" but it dont find the file i have see over the command "modinfo" that intree not of "Y" is like the originale and the depends are not the same too can this be the problem ? |
