Linux kernel error checksum

I had a checksum error when I edited the filesystem.squashfs file. I then fixed the checksum error but I was still getting checksum errors. I then edited the isolinux.bin file to change the error and see if that effected anything but it didn't. Im getting the same old error that isn't stored in any of the files and I don't know whats wrong. Is my system not saving the ISO because it said it was...

Hod did you edit a squashfs file? It's compressed.
