2.6.18-8.1.10.el5 is the old ( oldest ? ) kernel version
for CentOS 5.0 or Redhat EL 5.0.
The current version is something like 2.6.18-128.el5.

2.6.16.21-0.8-smp : probably Suse 10 Enterprise ( year 2006 ).
