Link failure at Suse 2.6.5 kernel

Hi,

We are migrating from redhat 2.4 to Suse 2.6.5 kernel. When I tried to build the same software, the compilation went fine, but it failed to Link and give me follwing error.
collect2: ld terminated with signal 11 [Segmentation fault]

Any idea?
