Exclamation Key encryption


I am fresher to the kernel level things.....i want to encrypt the keystrokes...can anybody tell me how to do that???

Do you mean encrypt between the keyboard and the computer so that your keyboard cable does not disclose compromising emanations? That's mostly a hardware problem requiring a new keyboard.

You could get the keyboard scan codes to change in an encrypted manner while you are typing.

Obviously encrypting the keystrokes in a way that doesn't change amounts to only a monalphabetic substitution that os broken quickly by methods such as counting frequency and counting neighbours.

I remember an article about capturing keystrokes based on sound. And on phones they can tell what you are typing by the angle and rotation.

If someone is obtaining your keystrokes by sound then encryption will not help. You will need to exclude listening devices from the area. That probably requires being deep inside a building far from windows.

Or have a loop of random keyboard sounds playing instead of a white noise generator.
