Unhappy kexec freezes

I'm using a livecd to mount a crypted system and then kexec into it. And this works fine.
The problem happens after this, when I'm using the crypted system (that I have kexec'ed into) and try to use kexec again in order to have warm reboots.

I've tried this the manual way:
kexec -u
kexec -l /vmlinuz --initrd=/initrd.img --command-line="same opts I have in /proc/cmdline"
/etc/init.d/sendsigs stop
/etc/init.d/umountfs stop
/etc/init.d/umountroot stop
kexec -e

And the debian way:
dpkg-reconfigure kexec-tools (choose yes)
kexec -l /vmlinuz --initrd=/initrd.img --command-line="same opts I have in /proc/cmdline"
kexec -e

On the first case I can see that root is not unmounted, nor am I able to remount it:
mount -n -o remount,ro /dev/mapper/mycrypteddevice
It always says that / is busy.

In both cases when I type kexec -e it says:
[ xx.xxxxxx] Starting new kernel
And then freezes... and that's all she wrote.

Any insights on what could be the problem?
Can anyone tell me how can I contact the kexec devs? In that case if no one is able to help I know where I can contact the devs.

EDIT: found it here
Will wait and see if I can get some replies here first, before emailing them.
