Kernel Upgrade Linux AS 3


Hi All

I am having Linux Advance server 3 With Kernel Version 2.4.21-4.EL. For some other application i need to upgrade the kernel to 2.4.21-15 or higher.

Can anybody guide me to how to get the kernel RPM from web and how to upgrade my old kernel to new one.

Plz Help

You mean you have Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS 3............

Sure with your current active RHN account use up2date to install the latest RHEL3 kernel;

FYI: The latest kernel is ernel-2.4.21-40.EL.src.rpm 03/06/2006 04:57:00 PM

If you have choosen for some reason to not to keep your RHEL RHN account active then visit the ftp site and build your own or consider switching over to CentOS;
