Recompile the kernel, under File Systems -> DOS/FAT/NT Systems and mark the NTFS file system support either as a module or built-in.

I don't know if RHE have FUSE support, if so, you could try using ntfs-3g, but don't know really if it can be done on RHE, also, afaik, you shouldn't have problem asking those questions in the official support of RHE.

Regards

Some older distros do no support NTFS by default. If you are not somehow required to use RedHat Enterprise, why not simply install something more modern?
Also, note the CentOS is a free clone of RHEL.

Exclamation modprobe ntfs

It may be that the kernel was not built with module autoloading support (CONFIG_KMOD=y). Try, as root: modprobe ntfs. If it loads successfully (you will simply get no output and a new command line in this case) then that was your problem, and you will then be able to mount your NTFS partition. Note that an ntfs mount will be read only in Linux, unless you jump through hoops of fire, and then you will surely get burned, so don't do that.
