Question kernel booting problem on core 2 due mainborad intel DG35


After installing red hat linux 4 on core 2 due machine with mainboard intel dg35 when we first time boot the system this msg appear on screen

uncompressing linux....ok booting kernel

system halt on this stage showing above message without error.

so please tell me its solution.

It sounds like buggy hardware. Obviously the installer ran, so plug in the installer CD and see what kernel parameters were passed on when it booted. (usually things like vga=XXX, noapic, nolapic, and various others)

You can try passing all exactly the same parameters and if it boots, reboot and eliminate parameters until you find out exactly what was needed to boot.
