Post Is PREEMPT_RT already implemented?

Hello everyone,

I am a bit behind on linux kernel scheduler updates, then I have read about this one on http://lwn.net/Articles/146861/

If this is already implemented, on what kernel version did it started? Thanks.

Regards,
archieval

Without any patch, the kernel support something, like following.
The configuration item CONFIG_TREE_PREEMPT_RCU:

* prompt: Preemptable tree-based hierarchical RCU
* type: tristate
* depends on: CONFIG_PREEMPT
* defined in init/Kconfig
* found in Linux Kernels: from 2.6.32 release still available on 2.6.38 release
