Is bigmem included in the Debian kernel linux-image-vserver package?

Hi,

I have a server, with 16GB of memory, and i'm currently using a "bigmem" linux-image kernel package for the usage of 4GB+ memory.

Now i want to start using vserver on this system, but I'm not totally sure, if the linux-image-vserver packages is including the bigmem option.

The debian linux-image-vserver packages:
linux-image-2.6.18-6-vserver-686
linux-image-2.6-vserver-686

Are the bigmem option included in this packages as default?
- If not, is there a configurations for the vserver kernel-config that i can download and consumize myself?

If install you it, apt should put the kernel config file in /boot and you should be able to cat/grep through it to see if bigmem is selected.

I seem to recall that Debian was including it by default in all kernels beginning with the Etch release, but I could be wrong.

"Bigmem" builds are certainly becoming more commonplace as "big memory" hardware is also becoming more common. If it doesn't come in the initial distribution, it should be a trivially-simple download.
