i am writing a kernel driver when i try to insert a kernel module i am getting an err
 
[root@localhost pagewalk]# insmod pagewalk.ko
Error: could not insert module pagewalk.ko: Invalid module format

but the above kernel module works fine in other computer i dont know what is the problem some one help me

The kernel internals change from one version to another. Modules require some tuning from time to time. When you're loading a module, the kernel checks if it was compiled for the same kernel version. In your case, the check fails. As I understand, the kernel versions on your two machines are different. It means that you need to recompile it on the other machine.
