how to set symbols lib80211_crypt_* ?

Hi there, I'm having problems connecting a Broadcom to a WPA AP and I thought it might be that I haven't compiled the modules lib80211_crypt_tkip and lib80211_crypt_ccmp into the kernel. Now I'm running a vanilla 2.6.31.3 Kernel and on make menuconfig I can look for the symbols lib80211_crypt_* and see that they are selected as n. But if I select everything that this symbols depend on I still get a [n].

Can I just add LIB80211_CRYPT_TKIP=y to .config?
otherwise how can I select these symbols?

Thanks, R.

You may try it. But it would be a better idea to select a driver that will need this module and will select it automatically.

This is the issue, I think both HostAP and ipw2100 use these modules, but when I select either (or both of them) still these modules don't get selected.

R.

EDIT: sorry for the two users, it seems that I had an older user that I didn't remember at all.
