how to make boot able image from the current kernel

Hi Members;
First of all I appreciate your time for reading my post at least and extra thanks for the other members who will give me some hints and idea.
I managed to install Redhat 4 update 8 on the system and Redhawk 4.1 (realtime linux) on the system as well. I compiled the kernel and make the bzImage file.
No I need to make the the boot able image from the redhawk kernel and copy it on PXE server because I need to make my system disk less. I know I need to copy the root file system and kernel file. but I dont know how should I do that.
Please give me some help or any tutorials that you might know.
Many thanks
