How can we preserve kernel log messages across reboot.

Hi all,


Is there any way to preserve our kernel log messages across reboot. So that I can know the reason behind the kernel panick. Or if there any log file that retains log messages added before reboot.

Have you looked at /var/log/messages? That should retain everything you need
