Hello you all,
first of all, I am a beginner and not deeply familier with (embedded) linux development.
Currently I am working on a i.mx6 based custom board from my copany. We want to use DRM/KMS draw directly into the framebuffer. Therefore I use this example:
https://github.com/dvdhrm/docs/blob/...odeset-vsync.c (and I also tried others).
The problem is, that now, I want to get this example running on my raspberry pi 2. But I cannot find a /dev/dri/card0.
As I am new in this topic, I do not know how to start. I found this link:
https://dri.freedesktop.org/wiki/VC4/
They have a custom kernel and a complete ".config" file. Does this mean I do not have to run "make XXX_defconfig"?
I also found that there is a "dri2" switch in menuconfig. If I activate this, will I get the /dev/dri/card0?
Is there any other way to get the /dev/dri/card0?
Sorry for my dump questions, but I do not know how to get this topic started.
