Executing a shell script from driver code

Hello Group,

Just now, I have written a small Linux device driver for keyboard. Is it possible to execute a shell script from within this driver? So that if I press a particular key then a script associated with that key-code (after scanning the keyboard code) should execute.

Thanks in advance.....
