Different checksum of vmlinux.64

I was controlling the Linux source code in clearcase. After it is done,I compiled Linux version When I parallelely compile kernel from two different views ,the checksum of the vmlinux.64 image built in both view
is different.
I was expecting the vmlinux.64 having the same checksum in both views.
Is it a normal behavior or there is some problem in controlling the source code?

The checksum probably will never match since kernel compiles include a time/date stamp.
