Difference in Kernel output between USB key vs USB HDD...using udevadm

I am trying to find out as to why the kernel output using udevadm was different between USB key storage device(Kingston) and USB HDD (Seagate). In case of the USB key it output the lines shown below twice:
===
KERNEL[1274312597.041309] add /module/usb_storage (module)
...
KERNEL[1274312597.044681] add /bus/usb/drivers/usb-storage (drivers)
===

But these lines did not appear for the HDD connected via USB.

Hope to hear soon.
