What errors are you getting and when? Did you get any errors when installing and did you add the drivers to the kernel as suggested in the gentoo link. With out detail information of what errors you get and what you actually did it is hard to give any advice

Below, in the attached file, are the instructions that I followed. I haven't got any error in the installation steps. But after reboot, no new in the "Available images:" section.

From your text file
Quote:
cp arch/x86/boot/bzImage /boot
cp System.map /boot
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------Lilo-------------------------------------------------------------------
nano /etc/lilo.conf
...
boot=/dev/sda
image=/boot/vmlinuz

you copied bzImage to boot and have vmlinuz in the lilo.conf

Ok, Thank you for this notice. I corrected it. In reboot, I got this error (below image).

you most likely have drivers needed to boot as modules instead of built into the kernel. unless you are using a boot partition then you will need to add an append "root=/dev/???" line , your lili.conf

Thank you a lot. It works. The problem is I have drivers needed to boot as modules instead of built into the kernel.

Thank you again.
