CONFIG_MCORE2=y right choice for Pentium T4200?
I just compiled the kernel with CONFIG_MCORE2=y for a Pentium T4200 (not a dual core processor), and the system booted as usual. Does this mean that this is the right choice for this processor, or does the kernel provide some kind of "graceful degradation" if you happen to choose the wrong processor type (that is, better than the actual one) in the kernel configuration?
