config file for kernel-2.6.16

can someone please give me the config file for kernel-2.6.16

im using intel chipset with p-IV 3Ghz processor and sda hard disk (SATA)

for some reason 2.6.16 is not detecting the sound card..however it is being detected by 2.6.12

Those versions are all that far apart, just use the config file for the old one, should work.

Some distros put a copy of config file used to compile your kernel in /boot.

the config of 2.6.12 when usedwith 2.6.16 is not recognising the sound card...however on 2.6.12 it is giving a sound output

hence the requirement for the file....
