Can't use most Linux OS without PAE, how can I enable it on Dell Latitude D800

I have a Dell Latitude D800 with a Pentium M 1.60 GHz with a NVIDIA Geforce4 4200 video controller. Most Linux OS requires PAE, how can I enable it and what is a good or best OS for this type of computer? It had XP on it before and it now has Lubuntu but it doesn't look right with PAE forced.

Not sure you can enable it. It is there or it is not.

Every generation of system has issues. That time frame may have been pae issues.

Not sure what you mean by doesn't look right with pae forced.

Booting with non-PAE CPUs

To boot Linux Mint 17.1 on CPU which do not officially support PAE (Pentium M processors for instance), please use the "Start Linux Mint with PAE forced" option from the boot menu.
