Question Booting Ubuntu throws me to the grub prompt. What to do?

I am trying to use windows along side with ubuntu.I have installed windows in c directory and installed ubuntu 11.10 in E directory inside Windows using Wubi.But while booting I found the error:
"For the first word TAB lists possible command completions.Anywhere else TAB lists possible device or file completions."


how to fix it..?

enter this at the grub prompt
root (hd0,0)
chainloader +1
or this

set root=(hd0,1)
chainloader +1
and let us know what kind of error messages you get.

Which version of windows is it ?

The above steps might not work because 11.10 uses grub 2 , you can try the steps mentioned specifically for wubi in the link below.
