boot message -> "eth0: link is not ready" but device is present

Recently I can't connect on my hardwired eth0 port. Looking in the boot log shows an error (Device doesn't seem to be present). The messages log has a message from the kernel about a device state change 1->2 (reason 2).

I've appended the boot log error, messages error, and some hardware stats below. Any help is greatly appreciated. And yes, I've tried 2 other cables.

Thanks.

Boot Log ->

Bringing up loopback interface:

Bringing up interface Wired_connection_1: Device does not seem to
be present, delaying initialization.

Looks like the cable is not connected or it is damaged. (No Link)

You can double check with ethtool.

Quote:
sudo ethtool eth0
