Bad EIP Value - Kernel Panic - not syncing: Fatal exception in interrut!!

Hello Everybody!

This is the message I got from my Terminal at the middle of the process when I wanted to install a Debian 6.0.1 onto my computer via a CD installer...
Is something wrong with my:
- 1 Mbyte RAM...?
- My CD/DVD combo reader/writer...?
- My second HD loaded with M$ Windows XP...?

Thank you for your help.

A very important notice:

The first Master Disk with which I would like to install Debian is acknowledged by the BIOS IDE device but NOT AUTODETECTED and I am asked to type <F4> to abort its autodetection at the startup process...

Thank you so much for the discussion and the help;

Heartfelt greetings from Antananarivo, Madagascar Island.

Yours truly,
AM Luidgi

If you have problems with this disk at startup I would recommend to download the manufacturer's diagnosis tool and test that disk before doing anything further.
