ata4 softreset failed (device not ready)

After the build of a custom kernel based on the release 2.6.37-2 using kernelcheck on ubuntu 10.04 (32bit) i obtain this message during the boot:
Quote:

ata4 softreset failed (device not ready)
$ dmesg | grep ata4
Quote:

How i can resolve this issue?

I've not tried it myself,
but googling a bit I found the solution seems to be to re-compile your kernel with CONFIG_SATA_PMP=n (default is CONFIG_SATA_PMP=y)
