Zebronics headphone not working
3 Attachment(s)
i'm using jaunty jackalope ubuntu 9.04, my desktop speakers are working perfectly. NOw i wish to make my zebronics headphone work with it too. In windows my motherboard driver was from realtek. Please help me...
i went to the volume control option and in that i see the following Device: HDA NVidia (alsa mixer) in the Switches tab the headphone is checked. I'm attaching the screenshots too here please look at theme and offer me help. |
Took me a while to find out that this is a USB headphone, you could have provided some better information.
So it is treated as a "sound card". In those screenshots, at the top, where it says "Device: HDA NVIDIA", you need to change it to whatever you headphones are seen as. Quote:

well nothing available from the dropdown menu works with my headphone.
What do u all suggest???? |
hello , i gave PClinux 2009.1 a try a guess what it worked for those of u who want to know how it worked this is an out line..
these represent the jacks ( ) ( ) ( ) ( ) (O) ( ) that "O" is my desktop creative speaker's jack. It means that it uses that jack. ( ) (0) ( ) ( ) (O) ( ) this is the present state for the headphone speakers "0" is the jack of it. well for ubuntu too i should have given it that jack. well i luv PCLinux its brilliant. thanks linuxquestions.org tinman. |
