your processor does` t support write-combining


Hello!
Every time i reboot my server there /var/log/warn says:

kernel: mtrr: your processor does` t support write-combining

is there a change to turn the message of without rekompiling the kernel ?

Maybe it's a module? If so, you may be able to find a way to keep it from loading (if it's listed in /etc/modules, just remove it). That sounds to me like the kind of thing that is compiled into the kernel, though. You may have to recompile. Or you could just ignore the error - I doubt it's harmful.

No, it is no module!
So I will recompile the kernel!
Error is Windo$ ! (So no way to ignore the message!)
