xorg and nvidia driver
 
Hi,

following problem:

If i use nvidias driver, the xserver dont start up completly, the screen stay black and i cant switch terminals.
The server stop at a specific point, as you can see in the logfile.
If i use the nv driver, just by changing 'nvidia' into 'nv', its all fine.

I hope someone can help me, thanks in advantage.

The only thing I can see wrong is you are loading the module keyboard instead of the kbd in this section.

So why not stick with "nv" if its all fine ? I use it all the time. Must you have 3D acceleration or nothing?

I think "Keyboard" is correct also. At least it's exactly like that on my machine (Debian Sarge, XFree86 4.3.0.1)

Try to add a

I want to use TV-OUT and nvtv dont work how i want it.
Well, inserting this options dont help too, but thanks.

You do not need the nvtv to use TV-OUT you configure that via the X config. Never tried this one before but see if using this for the device section works.

Now with any luck you will have an image on both your regular monitor and tv at the same time.

I need to use the "nvidia" driver to use TVOUT, because the "nv" driver dont seem to support Twinview/TVOUT, but i even cant get a simple one screen version of X with the "nvidia" driver running.
