Xerox XE 82 Workstation (Printer)
 

I have a Xerox workstation XE 82 (black/white laser printer + copier) installed which I use under W98 (dual boot system). Linux does not recognise that Xerox printer (as a matter of fact I haven't found any Xerox printers at all) and from Xerox there is no support beyond Windows.

Is anybody out there who knows what interface I could use or who can give me how-to instructions to eventually build/enhance/modify an interface myself and how to gather the necessary information to do that. I am new to Linux/Unix but willing to learn (with a background of IBM S3 to AS400 machines.)
