Xerox WorkCentre 7535 color printing comes out greyscale
 

Xerox WorkCentre 7535, running redhat in corporate environment and using CUPS. Using PPD download from Xerox's web site. Postscript2 comes out in greyscale even when specifically setting "XRColorMode/Output Color"

Web searches return nothing on this.

I generate a PDF and print from linux and it comes out greyscale.

The same file loaded into a windows version of acroread sent to the same printer comes out in color.

Is it possible that a CUPS setting is causing this?

I've been told that postscript print jobs will not override the default settings in the XEROX 7535 printers. I find this hard to believe but it's what I'm seeing.

If this is true then someone at XEROX needs to be flogged.
