Xerox phaser 3117 and Ubuntu.

Hello!

I am planning to buy a new laser printer: Xerox phaser 3117 and want to make sure it works ok with Ubuntu 6.10 before buying it.

Please, let me know if this printer works without problems.

I have to decide between two printers: The Xerox one and the HP 1020. Which one would you recommend to me?

Thanks in advance.
G. Lorenzo.-

I have already Xerox Phaser 3117 with with my Fedora Core 6 machine. In FC-6 xerox doesn't have a native driver so my vendor advised me to use Samsung ML-1710(gdi) driver and it works fine. I hope it will work with Ubuntu also.
