Xerox 4800 Scanner - Linux Compatible?

Hello. I'm considering purchasing a Xerox 4800 flatbed Scanner for my Fedora Core 4 box, but would first like confirmation that it works with Fedora Core 4.

If anybody has had experience using this scanner with Linux, or if anybody just knows that it works fine with Linux, I would really appreciate any input on this subject.

Thank you for your time.

SANE doesn't seem to list it, so I would say it's probably not currently supported
